Michele L. Norris is an acclaimed and highly respected American journalist who received Emmy and Peabody awards for her reporting on the 9/11 attacks. Former host of the NPR evening news program All Things Considered, Norris also authored The Grace of Silence, a memoir that grew out of the Race Card Project, an  NPR series about race relations in America. She is considered one of the most trusted voices in American journalism.
